Certified Hereford Beef is once again hosting the annual Certified Hereford Beef recipe contest in celebration of “Beef Month,” celebrated each May.
Professional and amateur chefs, foodies and bloggers are all welcome to enter the contest. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be submitted. Recipes must utilize Certified Hereford Beef. Beef can be utilized as the main focus of the dish or just an ingredient.
The contest is open for submissions from Tuesday, May 1, to Sunday, May 20. Submissions will be narrowed down to the top five entries as determined by a panel of judges. The top five submissions will then be available for voting by the general public on the Certified Hereford Beef social media sites.
The winner of the Certified Hereford Beef recipe contest will be announced May 31. The winner will receive a Certified Hereford Beef swag bag filled with promotional gear.
By submitting a recipe, participants agree to allow their recipe to be utilized in Certified Hereford Beef promotions and marketing, including but not limited to use on the certifiedherefordbeef.com website, social media content and printed materials.
