Compared to last week large square bales of alfalfa going to dairies sold steady to 10.00 higher; round bales of alfalfa sold fully steady; grass hay, dehy pellets and ground and delivered hay sold steady. Many producers continue with fall harvest.  Quite a lot of farmers are baling cornstalks to help clean up fields that have excessive amounts of ear corn and loose corn left in the field.  Dairy producers are starting to load up on hay and it has added a little price surge in some of the trade areas.  All sales are dollars per ton FOB the field or hay barn, unless otherwise noted.
