Compared to last week alfalfa, grass hay, ground and delivered hay and dehy pellets sold steady. Demand was moderate on ground and delivered hay and pellets with light demand for baled hay. Sellers and buyers are having hard time moving hay this week due to the rain within there trade areas. Some producers are still hoping to get there fourth or fifth cutting of alfalfa baled. Several reports of hay down for a week and still not even close to being baled. There is a lot of cane and millet hay to be cut and baled. Some feedlots are struggling this fall to get silage chopped. Several farmers are at a standstill on picking high-moisture corn and soybeans due to the wet fields. All sales are dollars per ton FOB the field or hay barn, unless otherwise noted.
